Project Approach & Objectives
- Plan and define scope, setting out for site preparation, detailed earthworks, pavement placement and quality control
- Delivery of all works and quality specifications as per Department of Main Roads (TMR) requirements
- AE Group is an experienced road construction contractor holding National Prequalification status with TMR
- Construction of basic right turn treatment (BAR)
- Construction of channelized right turn (CHR) for MWD access road
- The project was constructed under traffic with a high level of traffic management and interaction
- Supply, deliver and install culverts within the road corridor
- 2 Coat bitumen seal and line marking typical of this type of project
- Implementation of Traffic Management Plan for State Controlled Road
- Multilayer granular pavements
- Significant longitudinal joints with existing pavements
