Project Challenges
Despite the early onset of the wet season and the COVID lock down, the project was completed within an accelerated
program.
Construction of access road for bulk excavation and removal of the existing water structures and materials for future site
use. Locally sourced and conditioned materials enabled effective placement and compaction for sediment dam’s
constraints. A shorter program made coordination with supplier’s paramount to timely completion.
